After sitting at one planet (200 production) watching the battle go on, then getting out real quick and dominating the field in about 30 seconds, the host along with others decided to congratulate me, and in response i replied "Shut up noob." and got kicked... lol

I would kick you for that in a heart beat. Joking or not that's rude.

Its not that bad? i could imagine a thousand other things to say that would be much harsher... and especially if the host was name calling as well?

Sadly; the new generation of Galcon players have disgraced us. >_>

Just got kicked for teaming with a friend.  We played a few nice games, and finally the other guys got tired of it, called me a cheater, and kicked me.  Granted it's not fun to lose, but there's nothing that said they couldn't team up on us. lol.

Teaming in FFA from the beginning is just wrong.

Most of the games I have played have at least two people "teamed" at any given time.  The most interesting games i've ever played have been laced with backstabbing, teams, and confused players.  I kind of like it.  I feel personally that it has become part of the game.  It kind of relates to the art of war guide in the hints section.  It's a legit stragedy.

  And in my defense, we weren't teamed.  We just didn't attacked each other and I bailed out the other guy a few times. lol.  I know.  Teamed.  If it helps me get farther in the game why shouldn't I?

I do understand what you are trying to say.  I don't normally make alliances in the beginning of rounds but I was having fun.

And if you the game was not serious, like it was you and like 6 other friends, or people who didn't really care about winning, it is usually fine. But if you two just joined some random party and did that, bad.

I agree it's bad.  These types of teamplay really does limit the appeal of Galcon.  Either have proper fair teams or play as individuals, intending to crush everybody equally.

Btw : I may have met a few friends here however unless they're in a official team with me, I'll attack them just the same & anybody who plays differently is a gutless player.
