imVOX Alpha testing invitation..
« on: 07.14.09 | 10:28 AM »
Our good friends and Ayalogic (makers of green-ear) have asked us to invite not only Aftermath players but IA players as a whole to help them in their current testing of their new stand alone voice client.

Here is a snippet from their website www.imvox.com.

Quote
With imVox you can communicate with your teammates like never before:

    * No Voice Slots- Your account is your own
    * Up to 1,300 users in each channel
    * Connect to multiple servers and channels simultaneously
    * Higher quality voice vs the competition
    * Killer group management features

We have created a server on the imVOX network called 'Aftermath' and will us it in a upcoming event.  This is no configuration needed for connecting to server, once you connet to the imVOX network you can create your own server, search for friend servers, or just add a server you know exists (like Aftermath)

Goto www.imvox.com to signup to become a tester today!!

NOTE: Right now this software is in Alpha, with alpha 2 build just around the corner.

It asks for a Referrer and a Guild/Clan in the sign up... am I missing something?

you dont need to put anything in those fields if you don't like, would be nice if you put Max Gaming is as referrer.

Does anyone know what the bandwidth requirements for imVOX (if any)? If it can be used over dial-up while playing on IA, I'd be interested in it because I could use it anywhere that doesn't have broadband!

Is there a persistent server up, or is it only put up as needed?

I just signed up and haven't been able to find the server
