Well,if you buy cooler in other shop,how da heck will they know you put it?If you get problems with it you will tell them u used stock cooler

As for Gpu,problem is there arent many coolers(that are good)for such a strong cards.This is the one i found but its not fully compatibile with gtx285 but it can be still mounted and will work better then stock solution.However,for cards like this people mostly go for water cooling as it is much better then air one,but is quite expensive

But anyway,I know your coolermaster HAF will do big job in cooling it,so at begining i think you should try and see how temperatures will be with it,so if they are good enough,you might not even need aftermarket cooler

went ahead and got a TRUE for it. 

hopefully will have it within 2 weeks.

Not bad Van, but i would have put more into the cpu/gpu then into a 1000watt ps. The important things are usually... well more important.

well, i have the wonderful excuse of needing it for flight training which means this computer can potentially save me thousands by allowing me to learn things on FSX that i'd be spending $140+ / hr for an instructor/airplane to do irl.

@ arma:  Think it'll need more than 1000?  From everything i've looked at, a 800W woulda dont the job.  It's not sli or anything...  guy thats building it says it's runnin great even with a load

lol sid, yeah...  what i really loved about 20fps is when on a flag run, just before you hit the flag you drop about 40 frames then the next thing you know, you are out either with or w/o the flag, or dead.  lol

and cg'ing is a *baby* with low fps...  i thought 200 ping was bad... lol
