The first Halo on Xbox didn't have any online multiplayer, just networking support. Compared to other PC games, Halo wasn't all that revolutionary (not even evolutionary) but on the console it was something special. The controls were tight, the graphics were tight, and the grandeur of the game was something that the consoles had rarely seen from a FPS (with the exception of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, mind you).
+1. I wanted to say something similar but didn't know how to without looking like a Halo fanboy. I enjoy both games(Halo
1 and Tribes, that is), but comparing them to each other is a little asinine.
