Recently our aussy pickups have been a non-event due to the decline of our shazbots and the associated decline of our community. However now the shazbots and some of our community are back, I'm hoping we can get back into pugging.

Should add that idling in #legions on quakenet will

A) get you the vent info

B) Keep you up to date with the rest of the Aussies.

Glad to see you guys coming back

C) Catch a glimpse of rougey in his natural environment.

Thx Snappa and yes seeing rouge in his natural environment has definately for better or worse changed my life. 

Unfortunately the pickup was a non-event this week. Testimate to the fact that the shazbot death has killed whatever community we had.

I'm sorry to be a pessimistic *fluffy bunny* but I'm dying for the regular aussie pugs we had running regularly a few months ago to return. Pubbing is just not the same. 

I can hear you all: "Well at least you got your shazbots back you ungratefull *butter ball*" and in my defence I say to you: Our shazbots have returned but our community has *danced* off. We said this would happen in previous threads but I guess no one cares bout the *dancing* aussies.

Ok, I guess not many people check the forums... I just assumed that a large % do and those that do tell those who don't etc. I guess pming will be faster and more direct, Ill give that a go this week.

That said, my points still stand. I have only seen a select few return and our shazbots are nowhere near what they where :3

Mreman, donkee and ambient have so far returned. As pessimistic as I normally am, I think it'll just take time. Either that or train up some newbs :3 Pitt has improved dramatically and I'm sure the others can too.

That being said the majority of Australians are now aware of the Sunday Pug. All we have to do is wait patiently and see what'll happen in the following weeks.

Oh and keep in mind the majority of us have exams/work. Perhaps this coupled with the "death" of the shazbots have assisted in the current lack of players.

ahh, its been a month now, I hate tell IA 'I told u so' but hey I did, pple dont want to join and empty server, they are empty cause the vets are over playing at huge pings for 2 months while the deds were down, 1 new map a year, no real update in nearly 2 years.

If IA want new players to come then perhaps they should look at employin us to play as no new players are going to join an empty shazbot.

Its exactly outrageous requests like this that come when perfectly acceptable ones arent heard, passworded deds cough, updates more than once a year cough, a new weapon cough, new map cough, new anything cough cough....

So here we are, we care to much about legions and IA doesnt care enough.
