I would probably get it, but at least not until I get Win7.

Well heres why i think it will suck,

1. Steam Powered.
2. Limited weaponry.
3. No CTF (That i know of)
4. No DM (That i know of)
5. The flight/gravity systems means probably no maps like we are use to. So i believe they have backed themselves into a corner if the only area all these gameplay elements work are in orbit jumping from rock to rock.

These are my reasons for why i won't buy it, until i hear otherwise.

Other than the maps I really don't see any issue. I'm fairly sure they still intend to update and aren't done with the game yet. I guess only time will tell in the end.

purchased SH today, played in a 32 man... it was interesting.

cool to be able to fly around like you can, but it's pretty skilless as far as games go.  There are emp grenades that'll disable your movement, basically makes you a slowly floating duck.  \o/.

The 1 weapon is high RoF and medium spread.  So basically the first person to start shooting is going to win.

It's all about surprise.  Getting the first shot off is a sure bet to kill the enemy.  (note: surprise is not an element of skill).

Headshots:  not sure exactly, but i think 1 shot to the head will kill.  With a high rof weapon with the spread it has, there's no skill to it... it's more or less just random.

none the less, it was interesting.  Nothing I could imagine playing for very long.

basically like CS:S in space...  it's all about map positioning and getting the first shot off.
