Collision detection

Will projectiles have projectile collision detection? for example... mid air mines/ midair disc jumps off hand nades?

Yes. On the chaingun maybe not because of the extra overhead due to the sheer number of projectiles. But the rocket launcher will be able to blow up grenades, for instance.

i agree, would add a pretty fun dimension to the game, as long as it isn't made in a fashion that can be abused.

On the subject of body-blocking I'd really like to highlight something that Tribes:V did really well. When body-blocking in T:v the flag was slightly higher than the player (even a heavy) so through careful positioning and dodging a capper was able to use agility to bypass a bodyblocker and grab the flag while a knowing defender could hover up a touch in order to stop the capper from skimming the flag from over his head. It meant that bodyblocking could be countered and then recountered, depending on the knowledge and skill of both defender and capper.

Not a major point, but just an interesting additional piece of depth.

It was always fun disc jumping off of a HOF's head, especially as a chaser.
