The SP campaign on IA is pretty cool. I had a really hard time with lvl 1 (figuring out wtf was going on), and then the one with the super-fast ships was a big pain. It really teaches you different strategies though. The invisible ship enemy is kinda frustrating.

That is exactly what I said. The thing I don't get is why the last level is so easy. I beat it the first time in 2 minutes. Are they supposed to get harder as you progress?

The last level was so hard for me to beat. Even harder was the one with the Slug Princess on even grounds. She'd always have more planets than me, and even if I send 100% at her, she always seems to have the PERFECT amount to counter me. I'd guess it's something like math (start at 100, -50 but prod rate = 500, time to reach home planet = 20 sec.) to make it REALLY hard to beat her.

Along with level's 10 and 11, I hate to say this: It's a somewhat 'Ok' strategy in a IA Galcon game. Make your ships 100%, and just spam them at his planets. I'd say aim for the ones in the middle
and then spread out like send 100% at the left, and 100% at the right. If you wait too long, he'll start aiming for the mid-planets so these levels are all about speed.

there should be toilets in legions for people to take a *chocolate cookie*, then there should be a portal so it lands on a person, who you put thier name in

My best tactics have always been:

When your starting planet is basically alone, (with one, maybe two surrounding unnoccupied planets) attack early. Don't let the other guys with many planets outproduce you. As he is getting planets, attack him as he will be weaker in the first few seconds. If you wait, he WILLoutproduce you. This works Vice-Versa, also, as if you own many planets in the begininng you should wait as to outproduce the other, smaller, weaker planets. Grin

this is basic but..
when the game start dont attack the planets near you."mark" your territory, because you know that the planets that are near you will be your and noone will attack those.
this is some examples:

P.S i was with nothing to do so i was trying spend some time
P.S.1 i did this with paint and i dont have any skills in this so
P.S.2 this dont work always with bots

-Despite what you may think, sending a 5% out to some small remote planet might not be a bad idea. The more planets you control, the more ships you're creating, and the faster you're creating them.
-Target the bigger planets towards the beginning, you need to beat the other team to it.. or you'll lose Smiley
-Learn how to send even small amounts of units from the big, overstuffed planets to the smaller ones! Anything with a small amount of troops is a target for those 100%-production enemy powerhouses, and any troop resource that they have is one that you don't have.
-Stop making posts pleading to get into the closed beta.

I know all these basics, but they are worth repeating. Everyone should know these before learning advance techniques. It's more than just knowing them, it's beyond knowing them. You can't just play and say I know everything, you must respect and learn from the best to play well.
