While playing the game somehow it keeps on pausing once in a while.
Any help at all?

yea i have the SAME problem... i can play when the game loads, then after a while, it freezes for like 10 seconds, its not lag, but complete freeze, then i can play again, and then freeze after a while again... help?

go to the support icon in instantaction then go to tools then click the delete button
this will delete your game files
then go back to legions so they can be reinstalled
if this does not fix your problem then update directx

Can you take a look at what your computer is using resources on during the freezes? Open up the task manager and sort by cpu usage descending. Just watch when a freeze happens what your computer is doing. I suspect it's the browser or potentially other applications stealing resources during the game. If it's the browser or explorer.exe let us know.

It is the browser for me, random huge jumps in CPU use, from 15% to 70%.
 
I have 2.4 GHz and 1 gig RAM.
(firefox 3 and IE7)

The strange thing is this effect is compounded in eastern servers where I ping around 100. The western servers I get about 50 and I don't get as many CPU spikes. I don't see my ping spike and I only get about a 10-20 frame dip (60fps to 40fps) during the freeze.

Maybe because of the refresh time on those stats, I am getting a larger dip but can't see it?

I notice I get this when I play on my restricted account  * no pron for youuuu  *  but not on my admistrator acct.

I have had this bug since open beta (when I first installed IA).  I have deleted my game files multiple times, and I have the most up-to-date DirectX.

This problem only happens if I switch to full-screen mode.  Once I switch to full-screen, I can alt-enter again and restore to in-browser, but the game will continue to freeze for 10-20 seconds every 2-3 minutes.  I can alt-tab to other software just fine while it is frozen, and if I end-task the browser I can load the game up flawlessly, though because the game loads back to full-screen, I have to switch back to in-browser and then reload the webpage or else it will continue to freeze in-browser.

This is the only game that freezes on me, btw.

Edit: I know this problem occured on my buddy's Dell laptop as well, but I'm not sure of the specs on that... I will see if I can find out..
