Blur is currently in private beta, so products and such are opened up for testing based on the developer's testing needs.

Once the game is release, this will of course change, but we don't have any solid plans as of right now, so I can't give much information at this time.

I think it's a big taunt to have the private testers themselves mocked because of their status. They private test a free game so why are there locked features? Sloppy gaming industry 

we've got the test the ability to "lock" these features as well... apparently we've succeeded .  The new models are in the game but they are not complete yet for larger scale testing.  There is plenty the guys at Luma are working on and many known issues.  In the current build, the new cars aren't balanced or ready to throw into a multiplayer environment... so for now just enjoy the eye candy.

So it's not ready for private testers to test it for testers? 

I know I had access to one of the trucks for a while, that was cool while it lasted.

I think they should just give us one or two cars from each class,
Instead of a bunch of cars for two classes,
giving players more of an option.
