I have posted this idea in the suggestions section too but i think it's a great idea...

Hey guys, I recon to take fallen empire legions to the next level we should add a different type of game like: capture the flag matches, free for all death matches and team death matches. My idea of a new type of match would be called an elimination match. This type of match consists of two teams (Alpha and Beta) and the objective of the match is to kill all of the enemy team without respawning. If you die you can spectate your team as they try to kill the enemy team and you have to wait until the next round starts. The round finishes when all of the players on one team are dead and the opposing team wins or the time runs out and the team with the most players alive win.  The winning team (team that either kills all of the enemy team or has the most players remaining after the time has finished) gets a point. If there are exactly the same amount of people in each side after the time has finished the rush hour zone starts. In the rush hour zone it is like sudden death. The players must face each other and the team that gets the first kill gets the point.In the Elimination match the team first to have 5 points wins the game. The amount of points to win the game is adjustable so you could make a match as low as 3 points to win the game or as high as 10 points to win the game. It is the host's choice or it can also be added to a shazbot match. The amount of players on one team is up to you. I hope you like and consider my idea which will make fallen empire legions an even better game.

Ok i didn't know what it is called but i called it elimination match. What do you think of the idea though? I think it will suit legions

It's been attempted, lemme try and find the link for it, I was up at 4PM (GMT) when they was testing it, that's why there is a team gauntlet channel in Ventrilo.

idk if this is for anything so small, but I think it would be awesome if they added a digital camo skin. Any1 else?

On the topic, how bout a dead space inspired skin Tongue (that will never be put in, but it would be cool)

extremely pro suggestion inspired by my laser rifle thread: mark distances to each flag in its icon.  Eg if you look towards alpha base you will see a distance in meters showing how far away the alpha flag is. 
also, think the flag should inherit a little more momentum from its carrier when he gets killed, as it is when a carrier dies the flag just sort of drops limply.

I suggest to take away friendly fire to prevent those ever present and very annoying team kills.

I also want to suggest that the rocket specialist, although believed to be OPed for some odd reason, to be brought back as dets. I honestly see no need for "faster rockets". The detonate in mid-air feature made the specialist well worth it. If it's thought to be OPed then make the dets not do any damage but, move the player to prevent them from a good shot.

I think this was the original idea. Dont quote me on it though.

Ignoring for a moment all the suggestion on gameplay, new weapons, etc.  I'd like to offer two INTERFACE suggestions for consideration that would make many players happy. 

1. SERVER PASSWORD option available for user hosted games.
Implementation method:  When marking the server as PRIVATE in the host menu, enable a text box where a SERVER password can be entered.  When a player joins validate if the password matches, and let them in.
 
For team practices, scrims and ladder competition it's extremely frustrating and very time-consuming for us to send out a million "invites".  Be great if the host could just set a password since most people are on voice software these days.  It keeps us from having to DROP out of game to send invites to late arrivals or people that fell out of the game.


2. SERVER COMPETITION MODE again for USER Hosted Games.
Implementation method: On host menu add a "competition mode" checkbox (if server is "private").  Players join a team, then click fire to indicate they are "ready".  Once all players are "ready" the game counts to 30 and auto-respawns everyone.  That would be great for scrims and matches to avoid constantly asking the other team.. "Are you ready?"  "Can can we start?",  "When do you want to start?". etc 
 

Developers:
Thanks for considering.  Be wonderful if you could post a reply to indicate:
1) If either idea is already "in-progress" and potential ETA (or priority)
2) If either idea was already discussed, rejected, and reasons why.

From my limited view of the interface, both seem plausible, and I'm just hoping we could improve the interface to foster better competition, and team usage while we wait for all the future gameplay offerings.

      Hand Grenades - has a maximum area of effect of 8 ft./maximum damage when player is near/3 shots
      Flashbang Grenades - blinds players within 10 ft of the blast radius for 5 sec./no damage to player/3 shots
      EMP Grenades - affects players within 6 ft. of the blast radius/jets will not be usable when players are affected/1 shot
   OTHER:
      Airbrake - instantly stops the user when activated
      Cinematic Kills - players spin around in air when jet is activated/players fall to the ground when jet is not activated

I vote for something like this to be implemented.
It'd make it more easier especially, for practice sessions/scrims for/between clans.
And there will be no "ping" advantage problems, all will have some or the other ping.

Cinematic Kill/Deaths are epic... i don't like legionnaires just exploding when killed... i like it when they backflip in the air and continously spin around until they hit the ground...  Cheesy

I like all of the map ideas.
Legions definitely could use lots more maps.

The flamethrower idea I'm not too sure about though.
I like the idea of a shotgun or some kind of weapon with a spread effect.
Sort of like the clusters but, for short range.

I would enjoy some cutomizable skins and colors and such.
Also, the more voice clips, the better. Luls.

I think Legions is trying to bring back Tribes but, Legions should be more independant and not just revive Tribes.
Tribes was it's own game and Legions is it's own game.
Why make a completely different game then re-impliment an old game's style into it?
