Max Gaming Technologies has setup a IRC channel on irc.quakenet.org the Lore Aftermath beta.  You can join using the following information.

We are now using imVOX for voice chat, please head over to imvox.com and downlod the client and sign up for a free account.  When you join you can search servers for playmech.com

You will see people on with DEV and AMB tags, DEV = developers and AMB = Ambassadors.  All of whom have the ability to kick players off the server so again try to be nice

NOTE: imVOX is a voice/text server that allows you to talk to other gamers real time.  it is NOT required to play the game in general but is however required for PUGs.

anyone using the vent server? if it has any issues please post here and we will fix it asap.

I log on maybe twice a day, but no one's ever on. I'm hoping that will change now that Lore is open beta and maybe get some PUGs going sometime.

i hopped in just now (Sat 5:30 pm est), no one home although many people are playing.

Probably would be more on vent if people knew where the forums were.

Maybe every Lore game I go into I'll tell the people about vent and Lore's server. Maybe that would get more people into vent.

I can't figure out the IRC info. Help, please?

If you don't know where to enter that stuff in your IRC client, then create a desktop shortcut to: irc://irc.maxgaming.net/lore2_beta, and open it with your client.

Oh.........see, I always think "quakenet = IRC", so I actually don't have an IRC client.

Just to bump this up, please checkout the new ventrillo information for Lore.  This server should work much better for our current PUGs.

NOTE: We are currently working with Green-ear to come up with a custom voice solution that can be used for Lore, but until that is ready we will continue to use ventrillo for voice for PUGs.

NOTE: for PUGs, you need to login to ventrillo, even if you dont have a mic, it will allow you to hear other players on your team.

Well it's a slow Sunday afternoon and no games going .... sooo ... I finally got off my duff and setup both ventrilo and the new irc info.

Quick question...where is everyone? There's noone on this channel

It's not used a bunch except on Thursdays. But I hope that changes and am willing to do something about that. Maybe set up more PUG Days?

IRC has more activity than Ventrilo at non-PUG times.
