There are still people playing this game , certainly no where the numbers you would expect to have to say suuport a good comp but reality is old players still float through every once and a while ......... depending what's going on at the time basically determines how long they hang around.

Reality is I'm probably a limited person regarding online play , this is the only game I play online by choice ...... I've got a PC that can could probably remote control the space shuttle ( well not really ) but this game is simply too good to me to stop playing.

Personally I've gotten approx. 40 people into this game ...... 20 of those moved on due to the learning curve , 10 left due to newer games and the remaining 10 still play from time to time.

That's my site , I'm interested in keeping this game going and are simply asking for assistance of who I can approach to talk about a re-release.

I skin , map and also learning code ...... my site shows I'm into making stuff for this game ..... I just need some direction towards who can assist me.

To answer your question , the hay day of this game has come and gone ..... meaning it was released and tried by many but unfortunately the many have moved on and only the few who truely love the game hang around like me.

I'm sure if this idea was played with and followed through some population would return ..... I can only hope to the same level it was but that's only hoping I'm afraid.

Fingers crossed

T:V's massive install size will probably prevent it from ever seeing a massive freeware redistribution similar to Tribes/Tribes2. Unfortunate.

Eh, that's what torrents are for.  Distribute a stub installer that's really a BT client, and setup a server as a rate-capped seeder.  I think there's enough people who would download it to keep it going.

Torrents are not a substitute for lack of resource management! I'm sure those guys were thinking four years down the line, how in the hell are we going to redistribute this mess!!

Still worth a shot , I'm doing the run around Aus magazines again.
